Clémence Auroy Vernin

Chief Legal Officer

Clémence Auroy Vernin studied Business and Criminal Law at Paris University, following which she successfully studied a master’s degree in Business Litigation and graduated from HEC business school. Member of the Bar of Paris, she has a wealth of legal experience with over 10 years’ experience as a litigating attorney at a US law firm, as well as an overall 17 years’ experience in international business law, mostly in the Automotive Industry, and is now the Chief Legal Officer at HORSE.

2007 – 2017: Senior Attorney in the litigation department of Paul Hastings LLP.

2017 – 2021: Joined Groupe PSA as Special Disputes Counsel, later promoted to VP Legal (Global HQ, France).

2021 – 2024: Served as VP Legal at Stellantis, leading the legal team supporting all technology related matters (Global HQ, The Netherlands).

2024 – Present: Currently holds the position of Chief Legal Officer at HORSE.
